It was originally expected that the episode would air on May 27th. This was proven to be false.

Carly in China: TV Appearance and some Snapchat Shenanigans!

An eventful (and tiring) day for Carly today in China.  Shortly after her interview we featured earlier, she made an appearance on a variety/competition show on Zhejiang TV called “天生是优我”(Born U5) where she performed acoustic renditions “Call Me Maybe” and “I Really Like You”. We’ve found some clips from Instagram:

Of course, like with all good TV hosts, they wouldn’t let her off without making a cringe-worthy Call Me Maybe reference 🙄

Afterwards, Carly shared with us with some hilarious Snapchats between her and Jenna Lightner, her bestie and frequent travel buddy.

Jepsie Spotlight: The Rhythm & Beats of TRDrums

In this feature, I want to share with you one of my favorite Youtube cover artists of Carly’s music, TRDrums (Taylor Reeves). His channel features a vast collection of pop drum covers that are mesmerizing to watch and are pretty faithful to the original songs. How do I know he is a Jepsie? Well, not only did he do 7 drum covers of Carly Rae Jepsen songs, but one of them is “Still In The Game”, an unreleased track that only the most ardent of CRJ fans know about. I also remember asking him a year ago to cover “Boy Problems” and he seemed pretty happy to oblige. Check out his work below!

“Jepsie Spotlight” is a series that seeks to showcase the talents and creativeness of Carly Rae Jepsen fans.

Carly performs in Toronto for Showcase 360

Carly performed today at a corporate gig in Toronto. This time for Showcase 360, a trade show for pharmacy retail. We don’t have details of the setlist but we know she performed Good Time and Call Me Maybe. Below are some videos and photos we’ve been able to find on Instagram:

Snapchat: Bedhead Carly in Toronto

A rare Carly sighting today on Snapchat. The original version was sped up, but I’ve decided to slow it down to the original speed for better viewing/listening. For those that hoped that it was a tease of #CRJ4, I’m sorry to say that it’s probably not..

The Snapchat caption originally read: “Toronto and some ace morning bed hair”
