I want to share with you this great podcast dedicated to “I Really Like You”, hosted by Steven Ray Morris and Analise Nelson. Nelson is (apparently) a trained singer and analyzes the song in ways that might give you a deeper appreciation for the song. They also touch upon other Carly songs as well. Please check it out!
The hosts also promised to do a podcast on other Carly songs in the future. We look forward to it!
I’ve extracted the stereo channels from the 5.1 stream of the Blu-Ray release (no voice-overs) and smoothed out the volume for the quieted parts.
Just released is the new Bleachers track “Hate That You Know Me”, starring Carly on background vocals. Have a listen:
The song was first heard by fans during the Bleacher’s “secret” Unplugged concert last month as previously reported.
I don’t normally comment or report on negative things on this site, but It has come to my attention from several Carly fans on Twitter that Amy Guess’s new song “Late Night” may have taken some creative liberties with Carly Rae Jepsen’s song ,”Run Away With Me”. Take a listen:
In addition, Perez Hilton also recently posted on this issue:

Several elements sounded very similar, including the overall production, beats, chords, verses, and the drop before the chorus. The primary things missing are the saxophone and soaring chorus.
No comment has been made from Carly’s camp or anyone involved with her music. It is possible that they are not yet aware of this song or that they don’t care enough since this is a new artist and the song is somewhat unknown.
I’ve also posted this thread on ATRL if any of you want to comment on it.
UPDATE: Inquistr is one of the first big sites to post on this issue
