OregonLive.com: Katy Perry and Carly Rae Jepsen had a weird time at Portland’s Peculiarium

From OregonLive.com:

The night before Katy Perry and Carly Rae Jepsen were scheduled to perform at the Moda Center, the pair apparently booked a private party at the Freakybuttrue Peculiarium and Museum in Slabtown.

The pair posted about their adventures through collection of oddities Thursday night, including a Boomerang video of Jepsen’s encounter with the alien abduction table.

Nobody told Freeman or her business partner, Mike Wellens, who was showing up. Phillip Juarez, the employee who showed Perry’s bodyguard around, didn’t have a clue, either.

“They came in limousines and had tuxes and all kinds of stuff,” Freeman said. “We knew it had to be somebody then.”

As Perry, Jepsen and the rest of the group toured the facility, Freeman said they were “just the nicest people.”

“They were just real people and they were just the nicest group that’s ever been through,” she said. “I expected some pomp and circumstance but they were just really cool.”

Other stops on the pop stars’ tour of Portland include the Funhouse Lounge and Castagna, where they had dinner.
